Here is a poem I came up with:
Witness the death of today
Never to be what once was
Entomb old lovers and friends
A steady step past the threshold
An endless life awaits outside
In anticipation to be beheld
A resolute heart to be set
Each stride that mends
Scars of the days of old
As the path to glory opens
A road lies waiting out there
Witness the death of today
Never to be what once was
Entomb old lovers and friends
A steady step past the threshold
An endless life awaits outside
In anticipation to be beheld
A resolute heart to be set
Each stride that mends
Scars of the days of old
As the path to glory opens
A road lies waiting out there
